Written consent form — Residents sign a form (physical or digital) when joining the community, explicitly agreeing to receive text notifications from their HOA or property office.2. Self-enrollment — Residents text "JOIN" to their office's NotifyResidents number and receive a confirmation message explaining the service, message frequency, and opt-out instructions.All new subscribers receive a welcome message including the sender's identity, message types, frequency, and STOP/HELP instructions.Message types: community announcements, parking pass renewals, maintenance notices, meeting reminders, emergency notifications.Frequency: typically 2–10 messages per month.Opt-out: Reply STOP to unsubscribe.
